Asiatic Dayflower. (Commelina communis)

This is a prolific plant. In June, they come out everywhere.
Japanese name "TSUYU KUSA" means a dew plant. They open early in the morning and each flower lasts only a day.
When I was a child, my mother told the saying about this flower.
It was "It might start raining after you picked them."
I've never gathered them since then.
After I had taken some photos of spiderwort, it started raining.
Was it I who caused rain?
