Though September is the month when autumn starts, hot days has continued. White spider lily
Japanese anemone took on September 26 2008.
But, plants knew their time, and showed the visit of autumn regardless of the temperature.
I feel the color of the flower gradually became yellowish every year.
I hear that this flower was born by natural hybridization with red flower and the other flower. The color of the flower might be returning to the basic color.
(Anemone Japonica)
Though this flower belongs to anemone family, its Japanese common name is not anemone but mum.![]()
shuu-mei-giku.
The first kanji means "Autumn", the second means "lightness" and the last means "mum".
Maybe this name came from its blooming time in Japan.
Thanks for viewing my photos.
