Hibiscus bloomed in late autumn

My hibiscus had some buds in early summer, but they fell without blooming. It had buds in September, Wrote on November 22 2008
One day I found a mantis on the back side of the leaf.
Summer ended before any flowers bloomed.
and bloomed in November, when the temperature is too low for it.
I have to be more careful about harmful insects especially about the mantis.
